If
you need to cut or shear
- Fibreboards
- Steel and stainless steel
sheets
- Polycarbonate
boards
- Glass panels and other square
materials ...
|
... and you spend hours of work and thinking in trying to achieve
the most optimum arrangement of individual parts on the material
sheet surface, imagine that you can spend this time by doing what you like
the best or simply more efficiently. |
Imagine at the same time,
that all those small cut offs, which remained in your workshop or
warehouse from previous jobs and there is hardly ever any further
use for them now, would join into larger pieces and they would be
used in next jobs. Certainly, you will have many ideas how to spend
the money saved this
way.
If you multiply these imaginations by an average 90-95%
efficiency of arrangement of necessary parts in few seconds, then
you get a general idea about the contribution and help provided by
the OPTIMIK program.
|
 |
The goal of the OPTIMIK program is to minimize the time required to
design a cutting plan compared to ”manual” designs and increase the
efficiency at the same time.
When creating a plan, it arranges the specified rectangular
boards on as minimum number of material sheets as possible, whereas
it also makes use of cut offs from previous jobs, identifies the
waste as maximum usable cut offs and thus saves your time and money
extensively. |
OPTIMIK provides
(may be used for) automatic design of
the cutting plans for the funiture producers and
producers of other products from flat materials (such as wood,
metal, tin-plate, glass etc.), whose production sortiment is wide
and changing constantly (custom manufacture).
The aim of the
OPTIMIK is to shorten
the time needed for designing of the cut-off blueprints by maximum,
in comparison with the "handmade" designs while keeping concurrent
increase in productivity. By the production of these blueprints the
program arranges the rectangle plates into the minimum number of
plates of material. It shows you the amount of the left-overs in
form of utilizable cut-offs and therefore it saves your time and money
OPTIMIK’s main feature is
saving material to be
cut in two ways :
- by optimally placing (nesting) the rectangle
plates to be cut out of the given panel/sheet and thus
reducing the waste
- by retaining the shape of the waste in dimensions that allow
possible re-use
The OPTIMIK offers
:
- Record-keeping of the configuration
sets
Do you have many same configuration sets in
your orders? Set them into the program only once and then you will
be able to move them into the order always, when it is necessary.
- Export and Import of the
plates
Do you need to put thousands of plates into
OPTIMIK from another program? Does your program need lists of
plates from the OPTIMIK? Export and Import of the plates will be
enabled by the text file/editor.
- Unlimited recounts
Thanks
to the program you can set as many orders, plates, cut-offs and
materials as you need.
- Unlimited correction and deletion
possibilities
Nobody is perfect! With OPTIMIK
corrections and recounts done in a second.
- 100% utilization of the
cut-offs
Program preferably uses cut- offs from the
record kept from the previous orders and it automatically adds and
revises its record. You do not have to rush through the stock to
find usable pieces of material any more; the program will find
them instead of you!
- Fast and accurate
planning
Computing/calculating algorithm with
optimalized speed will enable you in a while to design cutting
plans, on which you would spend long hours.
- Automatic selection of the most
suitable material format
If several formats of one material
are stored in OPTIMIK, the most suitable format is used in
calculation automatically, while achieving still greater use of
the material.
- Big number of printable configuration
sets
You can print cutting plans, list of the
plates, and cut-offs in the listing of orders, cutting plans,
lists of the made cut/offs, total list of further utilizable
cut-offs, statistics.
- Various printing
settings
In the printing configuration plans
you can insert text, set the colour, change the font for the
description of the plates and cut-offs etc.
- Records on materials
All
the material, its formats, and receipts and issues will be
recorded in one place in a lucid manner.
- An option to enter the dimensions in
different units of length
In the program, the
dimensions can be entered in millimetres, centimetres, decimetres,
metres, decimal inches, fraction inches, feet and inches as you
are used to. The board dimension in the format 5' 11 5/8" x 3' 10
13/16" will not be a ”nightmare” for you any more.
- Calculation in no
time
You will not particularly notice how
fast the program will calculate total costs of your jobs and sets
and it will recalculate them at the same speed even after the
smallest change.
- Images of materials, strips, sets, and
other components
Fore better orientation, an image
or a small photo can be assigned to every material, strip, set, or
another component. Boring tables and records you have known so far
will become alive in the OPTIMIK.
- Recalculation of board dimensions upon
changes in external dimensions of the set
Has your
customer got an idea he wants to have the cupboard narrower by 5
cm and higher by 7 cm? No problem, OPTIMIK will recalculate
dimensions of all required boards for you!
